Thursday, May 18, 2017     2nd Annual NCMMH Advocacy Day

NCMMH will organize congressional meetings by participant's district. Last year we visited 47 offices (both House and Senate) and got 8 co-sponsors for the "Bringing PPD Out of the Shadows Act of 2015" which was signed into law by President Obama in the 21st Century Cures Act in December 2016. This year's congressional ask will be relating to funding postpartum programs.
